If you're ever in Seattle, I HIGHLY recommend stopping at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! Even if you don't go in, just stop and take a look in the window at all the amazing different caramel apples. They are beautiful! Then I dare ya not to go in!

Break Time!

This guy was sitting in the corner taking his smoke break. I love the lighting and the mood it gives to the image. And my Nikon D90 is AMAZING! This shot is straight out of the camera. I just did a b&w conversion on it. I almost feel cheated because I didn't get to "play" with it much in my post-processing. But, I guess that's a good thing.

Young Ol' Lady

This is my 85 year old mother-in-law. She really is amazingly healthy. She could probably run circles around me! She's had quite a life and a very interesting childhood. Two of her brothers went off to fight for our country in WWII and one of them lost his life. You can still see the pain of that loss when she talks about him. She decided to go into nursing and spent most of her career in the cancer care unit at Swedish Hospital. Not a job I could do. I have to commend her for it. She is still full of spunk! I hope to have half that much energy when I get to be her age.

3 Months Old!

My new little cousin is already 3 months old! And, she has the biggest blue eyes! Here's a little sneak peek for the fam!

I'm Back!!!!

I have enjoyed my time off with my family these past several weeks! But, I have missed my camera terribly! I have some really fun photoshoots coming up this year that I'm looking forward to. I also have a couple of weddings this summer! I'm excited for what the year will bring!

Yesterday, we took advantage of a BEAUTIFUL sunny day and went on a photography fieldtrip. These are a few of the sights we saw. I am a sucker! for rustic things!!
