Winter Beauty
I love winter....... I love how it lends its hand to lines and patterns that paint themselves all around you. It has a beauty all its own and offers a time of quietness. Yet beneath it, nature is quietly preparing for the coming resurgence of Spring, waiting for the right moment to show its vivid colors. But until that time, I will appreciate all that is in this moment.

Thank You!
I just wanted to say "thank you" to all my clients for a great 2009! I have really enjoyed the people that I have met and the time I have spent with them. And I also want to say thank you to my family and friends who have supported me and encouraged me as I have gone on this journey. I want to say a special thanks to my brother, who is also a photographer and has inspired me and has been nothing but a positive voice in my life. I am looking forward to this year and have already started with a new look to my logo, marketing pieces, packaging and as you can see, my blog header. I already have 15 photoshoots on the calendar for 2010! I am looking forward to each and every one! I wish you all a year full of happiness and joy!

BOYS!
I had the fun priveledge of photographing this great friend and his 2 sons. It was in the low 30's and they about froze to death, but they were good sports and did whatever I asked them to do - including battling some serious sticker bushes to get where I wanted them! I'm so mean! Thanks you guys! I had a great time with you!

Jesus............
Jeremy Camp just wrapped up another tour, with his last concert here! His is someone not to be missed! I've been to several concerts by christian artists, but there is just something different about Jeremy. He is all about Jesus Christ. While Jeremy is on stage singing his heart out, it is not about him at all. He remains the most humble servant. As he sits on the edge of the stage with his Bible, he reminds us all that our purpose in this world is for Jesus and nothing else. That none of the worldly things of this life matter, only how we are using this time to serve Him. At one point during the concert, it got quiet and someone yelled, "We love you, Jeremy!!" And he humbly responded, "But do you love Jesus?" He shows images of the Crucifixion of Christ as he sings the words, "Would you take the place of this Man? Would you take the nails from His hands?" I am reminded of the blood Christ shed for me. There just are no words to describe how spiritually fulfilling his concerts are. I leave hoping that I can be even half the humbled servant that he is. That in my everyday life, I can keep my focus on Jesus Christ and be a better servant to Him in everything that I do.

But hopefully now things are turning around! I have missed photography - I almost feel like I forgot how to do it!! I was able to get out a little bit on Sunday for a mini session with these two!! Here are a few of my favorites....
