Senior 2010

She's back!!! You may remember McKenna from her "Cowgirl" photoshoot. There just really are no words that describe how amazing and talented this girl is. It was an honor to get to shoot her senior portraits. We went out to this old abandoned gas station, complete with peeling paint, and she rocked her session! It was just way too much fun! Thank you McKenna! By the way, I have to mention that I did not touch her skin, eyes or teeth in photoshop - they are all her own gorgeousness!

Fun Fun!!

I got the pleasure of meeting these two great guys last weekend! We did a little mini shoot at one of my favorite locations and they ROCKED! the camera! Mix super nice boys with a whole lot of fun and you get a recipe for the perfect afternoon. Thanks guys!!

I just started editing this senior session and had to post a little teaser! I can't wait to finish the rest!

SWEETNESS!

So, I go over to my brother's house, planning to do my older niece's photoshoot today. I sat down on the couch, waiting for her to get ready. All I did was put my camera bag in my lap and start to unzip it and my younger niece jumps up off the couch and exclaims, "WAIT! I have to go change my outfit first!!!!!!" Off she went and came out in this dress and ballet slippers, ready for pictures! These are all her poses. I just followed her lead! She is quite something! I could watch her all day long!

She wanted a picture with her sister. So, she plopped down and "H" followed her cue.....

Happy Valentine's Day!

I LOVE Valentine's Day! It's my favorite holiday. I love that there's a day to celebrate love and romance. A day full of pink and red and chocolate! I think every day should be Valentines' Day!

Winter Beauty

I love winter....... I love how it lends its hand to lines and patterns that paint themselves all around you. It has a beauty all its own and offers a time of quietness. Yet beneath it, nature is quietly preparing for the coming resurgence of Spring, waiting for the right moment to show its vivid colors. But until that time, I will appreciate all that is in this moment.

You may remember this little cutie from before... This is my friend's hamster, Alvin! We did a little photoshoot of him awhile back and my friend submitted his picture to this Puyallup Post Newspaper and he was published!!!! Congratulations Alvin!!!

I just wanted to say "thank you" to all my clients for a great 2009! I have really enjoyed the people that I have met and the time I have spent with them. And I also want to say thank you to my family and friends who have supported me and encouraged me as I have gone on this journey. I want to say a special thanks to my brother, who is also a photographer and has inspired me and has been nothing but a positive voice in my life. I am looking forward to this year and have already started with a new look to my logo, marketing pieces, packaging and as you can see, my blog header. I already have 15 photoshoots on the calendar for 2010! I am looking forward to each and every one! I wish you all a year full of happiness and joy!

BOYS!

I had the fun priveledge of photographing this great friend and his 2 sons. It was in the low 30's and they about froze to death, but they were good sports and did whatever I asked them to do - including battling some serious sticker bushes to get where I wanted them! I'm so mean! Thanks you guys! I had a great time with you!
